Graham Oleson is thrilled to serve as the new Director of the San Marcos Entrepreneurship
Academy (SMEA). He’s an experienced AP Economics teacher, Social Sciences department chair,
and teacher consultant returning to Santa Barbara from the Bay Area. SMEA has a vibrant
record of experiential learning, social impact, and community partnerships that Graham is
excited to build upon with a reinvigorated team of teachers, students, and entrepreneurs.
Graham earned his Master’s in Education from UCSB’s Teacher Education Program in 2008.
With deep roots in Santa Barbara, Graham and his wife, Kendra, couldn’t be more excited to
move home to raise their two sons, Dean and Dylan, in this fantastic community.
